Friends of Lions – Brisbane Camp Hill Carindale
Our club runs several projects at any one time, and we’re always glad of extra hands. “Friends of Lions” are community members who help out with their time or skills, without joining the club or committing on a regular basis.
Even a few hours a year makes a real difference, and you’ll be working alongside a friendly, enthusiastic group of people. There’s no pressure to join, just a willingness to serve the community.
How you could help
- Cooking or serving at a community BBQ or sausage sizzle
- Selling Christmas cakes and puddings
- Helping at the Australia Day citizenship ceremony
- Community events and tree planting
- Sharing a skill, such as photography, writing or IT
Some roles involving young people may need a Blue Card, and we’ll talk you through it.
